— Case Study · InvestorKeep

A fintech platform connecting investors and advisors through actionable data.

InvestorKeep gives investors and their financial advisors a shared view of portfolio health — fees, risk fit, quality scores, and alerts that surface what to act on. As the sole designer on a lean early-stage team, I took the product from a blank canvas to a live, SOC 2–compliant platform, contributing to front-end development throughout the build.

Dashboard
Every account, every metric — and what to do about it
The dashboard aggregates accounts across institutions — cash, investment, and debt — and surfaces what matters in one view: investment value, fee exposure, portfolio fit, and quality score. The alerts section closes the loop, connecting data to specific next steps so the product drives behavior, not just awareness. Advisors and investors land in the same place reading the same picture.

Account Management
Cross-institution visibility, organized for action
Linking accounts across institutions — banks, brokerages, loans — was the foundation of the product. The accounts view exposes what's usually buried: risk profile, quality rating, annual fees, and total value in a single scannable table. Fee visibility across all account types was a core differentiator — most users had never seen their full yearly fee exposure in one place before.
InvestorKeep onboarding step for linking a financial advisor
Onboarding
A two-sided product, connected from the start
InvestorKeep only delivers value when both sides are active — investor and advisor. The onboarding flow establishes that connection immediately, with a clear progress indicator and a graceful exit path for investors without advisors. One decision per screen kept completion rates high during a trust-sensitive moment where most financial products lose users.
